Please note that due to a technical glitch the recording begins about 15 minutes after the beginning of the webinar. We apologize for the problem.

After the introductions, the presenter Allan Buckingham began the webinar by showing a 2-minute video called "GC43 -- Why a New Model" which introduces the new decision-making process, and invited some discussion about that video. Here's a link to the video he showed, and we invite you to watch this before viewing the recording..

Course Description

Are you considering becoming a Commissioner for the 43rd General Council this summer?

We're using a new process for our business, to help include a wider variety of ideas, perspectives, thoughts and suggestions. Your comments, and your experience in the church, will help us make better conversations, and ultimately stronger decisions!

In this webinar, you'll get an overview of what the General Council experience will be like using the 3 phased decision making process: listening, discussing, deciding and why there is a new Proposal Template that puts the proposed solutions (outcomes) at the end. If you're considering being a Commissioner to GC43, or know you will be, come learn why this General Council experience will be unlike those you've experienced, or heard about, before.
